SASHIMI INITIALIZATION COMPLETE

I am having a problem with Sashimi version 8. Sometimes it gets stuck after initialization complete, it just stays at that screen. I am on my own cooked ROM right now, and when I first load it after the flash it works fine and installs everything, but when I load it later to backup my settings, it just freezes at that screen.
I'm using WM 6.5 23518. Has anyone had this problem before and found a solution? I tried searching and only found one person with the problem but no solution.

I've had the same problem on an HD2 stock rom.
To fix it, I just had to switch to flight mode and sashimi worked fine

Not for me. HD2 Stock 1.72 WWE. Switched to flight mode and disconnected from USB. Still everytime I run Sashimi I stopped at the completed status screen.

Or did you reinstall it in flight mode?

OK. I uninstalled, set flight mode and re-installed. Now working some of the time. I feel that flight mode is not the issue. It seems to me (I don't have sufficient number of cases to really believe in this) that sashimi startup will fail if activesync is running.

Humm. I have a Touch Pro 2. I uninstalled Sashimi, closed Active Sync, turn on airplane mode, reinstalled Sashimi, and I am still stuck at the "SASHIMI INITIALIZATION COMPLETE-" Screen.
