Tilt 6.5 ROM recommendations

Postby bengalih » Sun Sep 13, 2009 2:02 pm

As I would like to get the kinks for SASHIMI worked out with 6.5 - I would appreciate that my users recommend the ROMS they are using.

Please note I own a Kaiser/Tilt - so please only recommend 6.5 ROMS that are for that device.

Please post a link to the ROM.

I prefer ROMs that are light/clean and don't have alot of stuff on them OR ROMS that are as close to the actual vendor ROM as possible (e.g. if there is an AT&T 6.5 beta ROM out - that would be great).

Thank you.

Hello - just getting acquainted with Sashimi. Looks very nice. Thank you.

I am on Sprint Touch Pro2, running the Mighty Mike ROM. WinMO 6.5, SenseUI 2.1.???

I've watched all the Youtube videos and downloaded the product. Sometime in the next week or so, I will be upgrading to a new version of the MightyROM and will try out your toolkit as well. Is the Makisu part of this or separate? When I update the ROM and then hard reset, will I be able to simply go to my programs folder on my storage card and launch Sashimi and let the AUTO settings do their thing? Sounds too easy.

ahmedfikry's 6.5 23529 Lite ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=618767) is the best ROM available right now. It's very light and VERY fast on the Tilt.

Asking some one to tell you what rom to run is like asking some what color car you should buy. It's personal preference. Best suggestion is to go to either xds-developers or ppcgeeks and do some reading. Lots of reading actually! Set up Sashimi to install you programs and try different roms till you find one that you like.

The one thing I'd suggest when trying out different roms is to not install a lot of reg edits with Sashimi. Some regedits may already be in the rom, and some aren't going to be compatible with each rom. Once you find a rom that you like, then you can research that forum for the best regedits that work with that rom.
