Updating of Sashimi Auto Install Required for new 6.5.1 buil

Originally I found this to be an issue when using Google Maps when I first got my phone.
Google Maps would never seem to get a fix when GPS Test would within 30 seconds - 2 minutes.

I actually just installed TomTom on my device last night (finally) and it was taking a while to get a fix. However, when I opened up GPS Test it also was taking quite some time to get a fix.

In the limited testing I did last night I found that TomTom wasn't really getting the fix any slower than GPS Test was.

I am not a GPS expert by any means, but I can only assume because GPS Test is a diagnostic program,is that it more aggressively scans to get a lock.

I have also found that once my device has gotten a lock, it generally gets a lock much quicker, until the device is rebooted. So, TomTom would get a lock in 2 minutes, but if I exit it (really exit it) and open it again it will lock in a few seconds. This is true even after many hours. However, if I reboot the device it takes a while to lock again.

So, I can't give you any specific answers, but I would recommend not rebooting your device if you don't need to and if you still find that GPS Test locks quicker, then run GPS Test first (or always keep it on in the background) and when it locks open up your other GPS program. This is I believe what many people do.

As I begin to use my GPS more now I will report back if I have any revelations.

I can tell the reason, why it doesn't work,
in the previous versions of WM, when you press the down key, the SELECTION POINT goes down, but now on the current WM 6.5, you must press DOWN and then press the action key to select SC... i know the reason, but don't know the solution !!

DITTO this is the problem I surmise!

Thats quite sad isn´t it. Many keys contain too many values and most of the time i don´t have a clue what they are.
And the objective of working with Sashimi is to be selective, isn´t it.

So your workaround is editing the mysettings.ini, right?

I got it to work on my tilt 2 by doing this to sashimi.mscr

Remove line2360:Repeat(SCListPosition)
line 2361: SendSpecial("Down")
Remove line 2362:EndRepeat replace with
line 2362: SendSpecial("Space")

Remove line2474:Repeat(SCListPosition)
line 2475: SendSpecial("Down")
Remove line2476:EndRepeat replace with
line 2476: SendSpecial("Space")

so both looks like:

SendSpecial("Down")
SendSpecial("Space")
sleep(250)
SendSpecial("space")
sleep(250)
SendSpecial("LeftSoft")


for my tilt 2 to choose were to install you have to click down then space for it to pick it. Im running windows 6.5.3 and have tested it out in 2 diff roms. it is working for me can any one else please test and confirm that its not just my luck thanx

The solution to the problem that I found out and tested on the latest 6.5.5 build.
Don't change anything in the lines:
Repeat(SCListPosition)
SendSpecial("Down")
SendSpecial("Space")
EndRepeat

Get a screen capture of your screen while you have radio buttons visible during application installation
Find a difference in pixels between the radio buttons (in my case, for omnia 2 it was 71 pixels).
Change the value of RadioButtonVertIncrement = 71 (put the value that you found). You have to change it in two locations.
Change the value of SCListPosition= from 1 to 0. This you have to change in two locations as well.
Save the script and it should be working.

You could also add the line, just for checking in the log what are the values when you run installation:
Call("LogEntry","destination " \ InstallDestination & "list postion value: " &SCListPosition)
You put this line in line 2362, before "Repeat(SCListPosition)".
After you try and it works, you can delete this line from the log.
