hi,
CAB auto install t Storage Card (Auto/CAB/SC) doesn't work
i'm using version 8.0
i see on installation, that the sashimi wants to send a down key, but i see that the storage card will not be selected, and so it is installing in internal.

i think it is a timing problem, ex: longer waiting til the storage folder is selected via start mort scripts ...

some ideas ?

for now i set in SASHIMI.mscr the sleep time higher and do it per hand.

it seems to be, that the
SendSpecial("CR")
doesn't work on my HTC HD, because the storage Card will never selected.
i see that it jumps down, and with the: SendSpecial("CR") - the cursor goes then up and install goes on...

hmm - don't know why the SendSpecial("CR") doesn't work on my HTC HD.
some ideas - or other guys which also have this problem ?

well, if i rember correct, under windows it also works in this kind, if a radio button or something can be change via "tab", "left", "right" and selecting is then via "space"

so i changed it from:
SendSpecial("CR")
to:
SendSpecial("Space")

this is now working. Maybe this also wants for other users which have the problem.
(and maybe this can be used on the next update

Thanks. I am having the exact same problem. My SC installs were working fine on Sashimi 8.0 for many flashes, then they just spontaneously stopped working. The radio button does not change to internal storage and then the auto-install hangs.

I am unable to find the place in the .mscr file to make the changes you describe. Would it be possible for you to post your modified .mscr file with the fix for this problem?

I'm pretty sure you guys are barking up the wrong tree. especially the second poster.

If version 8.0 was working for you fine for numerous flashes, and now it's not working...well I ask you what else changed? Because 8.0 didn't change... so what are you doing different, or installing differently.

In order for anything to be recognized as a legitimate problem, please present precise details of the issues, including device and ROM information, problem history, logs, screen shots, etc.

Because anything you try to hack around and get working will probably not work when an update rolls around unless the issue is properly addressed.

If you are a Touch HD user for which auto install works fine for, also please chime in, as I'm pretty sure there are dozens if not hundreds of Touch HD users using those functions without a problem.

You are probably right, actually, Bengalih. I think I just started having problems with my internal storage on my Diamond today and that is the root of the problems.

I'm still looking into it to try to find out what is wrong with the device.

Hi all
I have also pb with auto install on my HTC HD.
During the installation of my cab placed in "Auto / Cabs / SC", he always asks me to choose the installation location.
The installation is therefore not automatically on the SD.
Any help will be welcome.

well - here is the fix for the problem.
anyway:
here is the fix for it:

see under: ...\SASHIMI\Program\Bin\SASHIMI.mscr

there are lines inside with:
-> SendSpecial("CR")
this i changed to:
-> SendSpecial("Space")

should be only in line: 2364 and 2478

then it works.
(i can't upload here a file, so you have to change this by yourself)

(sorry, but i don't know why this wouldn't change in newer sashimi config, because it would work for other users also, CR could be set to diff on some images BUT _ SPACE WOULD WORK for old and new one .. but it's up to you)

well, you can insert a longer delay before the sending "CR" or sending the "space", then maybe you see if it react on these lines.
or you can try to add both: one line with "CR" and one line with "space"
maybe you can also try beteewn thelines a delay of 10sec to see if it would be selected as it should be ..
play with it a little bit to find out your problem.
maybe this lines will never be executed ?
